I fell into mine. I saw the car for sale at a local autocross last year and didn't think anything of it. I had a car to race, well someone ran into my DD/race car and made it a DD only. So the hunt was on for a good car to race. I was looking at 89 to 91 Civic's, because I have been running Honda's for so long. My RX2 popped up on a local forum with a link to craigslist. I jumped on it because I had the money and it was something different for me. I spent a month researching the car before I bought it. Parts are hard to find but they are out there. Bonus for me, it came with a slew of extra parts. Including tie rod ends.

Willub,You could look, and look all around New England, and maybe find one or two old school Mazda rotaries. The problem is these cars don't really exist here in New England anymore, and never were here in grea numbers like the west coast. My only bit of advise is look at craigslist, and ebay for vehicles in the south, southwest, west, and northwest. The ones that may be around here are either not for sale,or are so rotted away they aren't worth buying.
My REPU was found via mazdarepu.com,and was in GA. My RX-7 was a local car,but it is truely what you would call basically a barn find, and is not the typical car from NE.
Good luck, and if I go on strike in August my REPU will more than likely be for sale.
