What's it worth?

i just stumbled across a 74 808 in the wreckers with an IMMACULATE white vinyl interior. seats and door panels. just curious what it may be worth. also it has what i thought was an rx3 front end. its got the pointy nose i believe. i just had a brain fart. but its got the 4 round headlights like an rx3 instead of the square 808's. is this something that was still available on the 808s or did someone transplant them? also the front grill and headlight surrounds are plastic. is that oem or aftermarket replacement? the tail lights are near immaculate as well. all in all the car is superbly clean except it got hit on the drivers side. i will upload pictures later tonight. also there are fancy lookin imprints in the center of the door panels in the vinyl. any help with this would be much appreciated. if they're worth anything you should see them in the for sale section soon.

thanks.

Hello Dave

For a second I thought it was our good friend Josh, also goes by Docholiday.

I believe what you found its a Miser, looks like just like a 808 but it has square head lights, the one I seen in the local junk yard has 2 headlights.

What its worth, no idea!!

Good Luck!

Andres

The 808 is the 4 piston version of the RX3. There were other variations in some markets I'm not %100 about Canada.

The 808 has a differernt front cross member, tranny and mount, a short nosed dif, an unshielded idler arm and different heat sheilding for the exhaust.

Other than that prety much an RX3. If someone had all the stock RX3 stuff I'm taking off mine, someone may be able to put together an oldschool RX3. Or just mod it up!

How bad a hit?

What condition are the glass and body panels in? They all fit the RX3. Could be some cash in that vehicle.

The RX-2 also had a flush trunk vs. the Capella's recess for the spare tire. The rotary version was too thirsty to not go with a bigger tank. Not sure if the 808/RX-3 had the same thing.
