NC What is this port called

i was told it was J-port but i dont think so

thats another version of a cheater port... trying to get around the "no bridge port" rules in racing

thats what i thought... they came from an ex-racer so i kinda figured... the housings look really good and the irons look great.. are they worth the trouble?

J port is a bridge port extending into the water passage.

that, like bastard stated. is pure junk...

to bad they put those slits. you could of just finished the bridge off. but i cant imagine the corner seals lasting with those gaps in between where there should be a complete bridge surface to ride on...

put them on eBay... someone might get them for cheap.

Looks very similar to an early Cameron Worth "finger" port I once saw except the fingers were seperated (didn't have those channels). Apparently it worked and wasn't as fragile as a bridge.

Whatever.
