What all will work on Rx2 from Rx7?

I just got the opportunity to get a 85 GSL roller as a parts car and want to know all the parts that can be used on my rx2. I already have a 82 engine and 80 tranny in her now but im interested in rear ends, brakes and suspension.

Ah so pretty much just the back brakes, well that might not be enough to buy a whole car for. I might just try to find the parts alone then.

Not trying to hijack, but you guys seem knowledgeable. Where is a good source for 13B rotor housings with the O-ring grooves? What was the last year?

Thanks!

Hey I also have an Rx2. What parts will work for the front brakes/suspension? I heard that you have to use parts of a first gen and parts of a second gen for it to work.

Check out www.re-speed.com

They've done a bit of work on performance parts for these cars, and are still developing more.

Also, if you need manuals or anything like that, check out: http://www.iwankel.com/

And lots of other information can be found here: http://www.vintagerotaries.org

I have several boosters from RX-2 to RX-3 and RX-4. If you stick with old school, I recommend a RX-4 booster as it slightly larger and has 4-stud like the RX-2. However, if you can grow some *****, there are other options lollll

U can use 1st gen front struts with the spaceer available from RE-speed. Rear disc brake with the RE-speed bracket. If u have a gsl-se u can u that rear end u just need to modify it.

thanks for all the info everybody! the reason I asked about the brakes and suspension is cause my 2 has been sitting since the 90's and the brakes are just covered in rust. I figured I might as well just replace the whole assembly since the bearings are probably toast to. Fabricating/modifying something isnt much of a problem for me, but cash is. Dont get me wrong, I know that bringing this thing back to life cost money, but if something can be modded, (safely and practically) and save me a few hundred bucks Im all for it.

Ive had this car since '03 or '04 and Ive put a lot of time money and effort into it already, but this time I want to do it right.....

I just checked out the re-speed site, does the Rx2 coil over kit bolt directly to the lower suspension, and all it needs is a first gen shock?

As far as know the coilover kit is for the front only at this time, it does use 1st gen shocks im pretty sure, I know they are working on something for the rear but I also have heard that you can use the FC rear shocks with RX2 top hardware and that works.
