California Duce Owner?

Saw this car at Sevenstock 5. The young guy who built the car was trying to sell it at the time. Have never seen it at Sevenstock since. Just curious to know if any So-Cal rotorheads know where this gem ended up? It was super clean and well sorted!

I remember seeing this at SS5 too. He wanted 12k for it back then. The last time I saw this car in person was at the 2nd annual JCCS event in '06. Never saw it again after that. Yes, very clean. What really caught my eye at the time aside from the car being super clean was the phantom gauges he had in place of the stock tach and speedo. It almost looked like factory installed gauges.

Here's a link to a picture of it at JCCS '06

The car that I was really scoping-out was the mint all-original Mazda blue RX-3 SP parked next to it that used to belong to Arnel (islandsnow).

Hey guys! Its been a while since I've posted on here. The duece belongs to a friend of mine. It got scratched down to the metal on the left fender that day. It looks as if someone keyed it. Thats why he has never taken it back to sevenstock. And yes, the car is sik! He did a really good job on it.

that was the same time when my RX-3 (yellow at that time) got keyed. Ever since then, I have been in a look-out.

that's one of the reasons why I had the car painted (after the last event at the R&D).
