Im trying to find a RX3 coupe or station wagon and export it to New Zealand. The only problem being it has to stay in the states for 3 months before it can legally be exported. If anyone knows of one or someone can help me out it would be much appreciated.......Thankx

 

Why 3 months?

 

Apparently once you buy a vehicle it has to stay there for three months (90 days) then you can import it. LTSA laws i got from there website. if theres a loop hole or this is incorrect let me know..... thanks

good luck finding one. i've been looking for the past 4 months now and still haven't found one i can afford yet. all i need is a decent body.

 

I think that is incorrect. I know of several Mazda's that have come in from the states with no issues around 90 days... same goes for the V8 boyz - containers of Mustang's, Camero's and other slow land-whales come in all the time. Talk to UWANIT (Tim) or anyone with a REPU (there are 3 or 4 about)... or maybe someone from the local hot-rod club.

Can you post some specs or the car please....engine(porting, condition), clutch, flywheel, Gearbox(tranny), suspension etc... is there any rust? was that the reason for replacing the front windscreen... can you also post the dimensions of the car and the nearest port to you and how far away, so i can work out shipping, transporting costs... what price range are you looking for.... thanks for you help
