1974 Custom RX2 "For Sale"

Regretfully, I have to sell my 74 Deuce.I need to free up space on my property I have too many vehicles and the town keeps writing me tickets cause my neighbors are ratting me out!!

So, I am gonna offer up the car here first,if no bites I will list it on Ebay.I don't even know where to start I have so much time & money into this car.

Engine/Drivetrain:

13B Streetport
5Spd Tranny
RX4 Intake Manifold
Hitachi Carb W/ Mech Secondaries
Racing Beat Intake
Dual MSD 6A's
Magnecor Wires
Dual Belt Alternator Pulleys
Optima Redtop Battery
Electric Fan
Custom Exhaust w/ Extended Primaries into 2 Pre-Silencers

Suspension:

Racing Beat Stage 1 & 2 Handling Kit
13x7 American Racing Lbres
Sumitomo HTR 200 Tires
175/50-13 on front
215/50-13 on back

Interior:
Brand New Interior Direct From Scotts Old Auto Rubber in Aus.
Brand New Custom Made Dashboard "Ferrari Style"
Grant GT Wheel
FC Shift ****
Front Seats are mint

Ok here's what needs to be finished.I took apart the whole entire Dash & Cleaned or replaced every part.New Defroster Air Vents from Ausland.Cleaned every little friggin bulb & Lens in the dash. I have All the parts to put the Dash
back together probably about an hours work.Every screw to the Dash is in ziplock bags & marked.Every unplugged Wire has masking tape on it & is marked as to where it gets plugged back in.The Door Panels were replaced also. The Headliner is new but needs to be fastened in the rear. The Drivers side fender needs to be replaced and I have a really clean fender to replace it with.I have 73 Front & Rear Bumpers & Front Grille which are currently not on the Car.My body guy quoted me 500.00 to replace the fender straighten out the minor crease at edge of hood which does not effect open/close and spray the Fender & hood again.

This Car is Really Quick!! The Paint is 300z Blue I think Looks Hot!! I have Receipts for everything!! I have plenty of pics so if you don't see something just ask I'll post it up.

Here is a link to the pics but i don't have updated pics of the interior with the New carpets & Dash.I'll try to get them up over the weekend......

Yeah, There was no question as to which car, If I had to part with one of them, it would be.I'll never sell the Twin Dizzee.I'm not happy about sellin this one either I really wanted to finish this car & show it off and be able to say I did Most of the work myself.I just don't have the room on my property for the Car.I'm currently looking to buy another House that has MORE property with at least 3 or more garages.Once I find it!! Look Out!! I'm Loadin up on Old Rotaries!!!

I Know I was just F$*#!N with ya!! I really don't know.Realistically, I probably won't get more than 4K.If I can't get 4K for it than I'm either gonna keep it or look to trade it for a Stock 2 Door.

How reliable is it? Would it make for a good daily.. about 75 miles a day.. Would you trust it to drive from north cal down to socal? How does it ride, suspention wise? I'm pretty intrested.. might be able to pick it up after SS8.. need to save up a bit of cash as I just dumped 12k into my rx-2.

I would not drive it 75 miles a day the way it is now.It rides really hard.Whoever di the suspension before i bought it must have lowered the rear or it needs shocks or something.Front end handles Mint!!! has Stage 1 & 2 Kit Handles nice.

Aww crap, rear suspention is IMPOSIBLE TO FIND!!1 Well I'll let you know if I'm intreste in a month or so. Want either an fd, or an old duce for my daily.. Or just rebuild my daily fc as its starting to show signs of low comp, and dieing oil control seals.

There's nothing wrong with the rear. It's the Springs, they were cut which coupled with the old shocks is giving it a hard ride.My plan was to order new springs from King Springs and put in new shocks that would solve the problem.I'm listing the car today on Ebay.
