Trying to restore my Rx3 tail lights some help here guys

Hi, I am trying to restore my tail lights there where white when I bought the car I am looking for any advise and the color to use I'll like that color is like charcoal grey or black don't know and like chrome on the rings or grey correct me please

I dont think the red was on all of them Nick? I believe that most North American models came black and chrome.... maybe turbo Dave or Mel can chime in here but I thought the red was either an option here or from outside North America??

My 72 rx3 came with the taillights with red on them

What is the paint code of the charcoal I ist use and what type of grey is that on the borders?

All 10A nosed cars should have come with the red candy on the taillights. 74-came with a charcoal or black, I believe. As for a paint code, you'd be hard pressed to find that data from Mazda. I would just choose a nice charcoal paint and do your lights, front bezels, and rear c-pillar trims to match.

Sem (brand) metallic charcoal trim paint would probably be your best bet , it lays down great , long lasting ( mine still looks good after 20 years ) and no problem with UV.
