Time to paint the RX-2

Well it's time to get more work done on the RX-2, and this time it's body work and paint. The problem is I don't know how to do either, but I want to learn. So where is a good place to start, like DVD's? I learn better by seeing what I am doing rather than reading about it.

The main thing I want to know is how to remove the chrome and glass. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

put some pics up of your ride.

when pulling of the chrome peices it's easy but tediouse sorry for the spelling. They slide off left and right but you have to be careful not to bend or damage them when your taking them off

Make sure you pull the front and rear glass to fix any lurking rust

Yes, I agree with banzaitoyota, its going to take more time but do it right the first time and the work will last longer.

What I did I went to a body shop and volunteer to help for a few months and they showed me how to paint and apply body filler, also let me use their paint booth to shoot my car.

You can also sign up for a shop class at a community college and use you car as a project car, you learn and get the car done at the same time.

Good Luck...................
