Throttle cable ideas

In my attempt to completely hide everything in the engine bay to give a nice clean look. I want to "hide" my throttle cable as much as possible and also make it look cool. My idea was to run the cable the opposite direction on the inside of the fire wall under the dash and enter through the fire wall much closer and lower to the carb (51 IDA). But I am concerned that the steel cable wount be able to take the sharp bend to be attatched to the Weber linkage.

I have found this place which looks to be an awesome choice. They will build you a throttle cable built to your measurements, and they have a 90* bend option at the end. And different style finishes. But $70 plus shipping for a cable is kinda steep. Anyone know of any other places?

Has anyone done this before? Or something similar?

70 plus for a custom cable doesnt seem steep at all really, especially if its got that perfect 90 you need.

I should have stated how cheap I am, lol...

It actually is a good deal. But I always think I can find better. But the Black pearl option they have is pretty damn nice looking. Especially with the color combos I'm choosing for my engine bay.

On thing I'm not sure of when ordering the custom cable. How much "travel" is typically needed on a weber? I can't see it needing more than 2", anyone know for sure before I order?

I've used this on both a 74 Repu with a Weber and 79 Rx-7 with a Holley and it worked prefectly looked nice and was surprisingly cheap at $25

I have used that one on a 85 rx7 before. Worked well and looked cool. But if I want my Rx2 to be as nice in real life as I see it in my head. Then I need to spenmd a little to get quality. I'm going with the custom one...
