Very nice car. It is worth the money. That car in Puerto Rico would fetch $25,000 to $30,000 US money. Complete original cars are worth more money than custom cars.

 

 

Am I the only one that thinks this more than a tad bit over priced? It is a great example of a 2 and don't mean to slam the owner or the car. I also do realize that rotaries bring a premium down under, but isn't that price is pushing the envelope?

 

Damn near shredding the envelope! You used to be able to pick up a Cosmo for around this price or even a little less but just recently a man in New Zealand turned down a bid of $80,000 for his Cosmo. Are the other early rotaries going to increase in value like the Cosmo? Probably, but there were a whole lot more of the R100, Rx2 and RX3s made which will depress prices just from their numbers. Even a low mileage 1979 Rx-7 sold on ebay this week for 12000 and that is also pretty much unheard of also. Interesting......
Stock cars will be worth more than the modified version just because there a so few left. Modified is the only way to go if the car is going to be used on modern roads and traffic situations, however.

 

Not slow clap worthy, but it's really nice.
