WoW, check this out. $AUS 35000 = $US 30000

If someone could pick up this car at asking price, it sure would boost the values of all the other Rx-2s out there. Sure would appreciate it!

Wow thats a very original rx2...love those rare tailghts. Hopefully thats pushing the value of ours up. And thanks for the compliments on my duece Andres. I like that '76 rx4 you have...used to have one just like it that was tobacco brown back in '85-'86.

Very nice car. It is worth the money. That car in Puerto Rico would fetch $25,000 to $30,000 US money. Complete original cars are worth more money than custom cars.

Am I the only one that thinks this more than a tad bit over priced? It is a great example of a 2 and don't mean to slam the owner or the car. I also do realize that rotaries bring a premium down under, but isn't that price is pushing the envelope?

Damn near shredding the envelope! You used to be able to pick up a Cosmo for around this price or even a little less but just recently a man in New Zealand turned down a bid of $80,000 for his Cosmo. Are the other early rotaries going to increase in value like the Cosmo? Probably, but there were a whole lot more of the R100, Rx2 and RX3s made which will depress prices just from their numbers. Even a low mileage 1979 Rx-7 sold on ebay this week for 12000 and that is also pretty much unheard of also. Interesting......
Stock cars will be worth more than the modified version just because there a so few left. Modified is the only way to go if the car is going to be used on modern roads and traffic situations, however.
