Sevenstock 12 pic thread

Jarrett, I truly appreciate your understanding and good attitude here! The club is not here to stop the fun guys, just to keep the event going.... The SoCal RE scene has been made world famous by SevenStock and we want to make sure we keep leading the charge... highlighting all of your cool RX rides!
If it was just the club, and not any of these large corporations Mazda, Irvine Co. and the City, it wouldn't be such an issue. You see the City (street and event permit) Irvine Co. (large parking lot), and Mazda, take all the liabilty and exposure when they host and issue a permit respectively, and they are the ones who will get sued, if "ANYTHING" happens. People can sue the club, but we have nothing... so Mazda, Irvine Co. and Irvine City take all liabilty and insurance exposure for SS. If someone falls or gets hurt in the street, or parking lots, it is those entities who are on the hook.
On the vendors, the CITY of IRVINE was the one with the permit size restrictions. If the vendors/display guys used anything larger than a 10x10 single tent in the street, the city wanted us to pay a higher permit fee, and the Building & Safety department would need to come out and inspect every single tent and structure at the event. This was a change that they sprang us this year. Vendors could use more than one 10X10 as long as they were separated by 10ft each. There were no vendors who pulled out because of this restriction.
Also, as you mentioned, some of the other vendors, this year, were at different racing events... Mazdatrix and Mariah Motorsports were at the SCCA Runoffs, and some of the other teams were at Petit LeMans, or enroute to a Grand-Am race... There was also a Time Attack event in Nevada. And there was one vendor who canceled due to a project test early in the week.
And this is just some of the behind-the-scenes BS we deal with....

If you want to post it that will be great. The 510 don't get love at some of the 510 shows because of the Rotary engine. But I don't care I love my Rotary 510. As far as the emblem I like the Datsun crowd to know that the heart of the power is a Rotary Engine. Brap Brap Brap. The many emblems I have is all collectables and it keeps my 510 different from the other 510, especially who paints there car like mine and also have the yellow highbeam headlights. Thanks Bro!
