RX8 Renesis 13B & 6spd Tranny Swap
I scored on a totalled 2004 RX8 w/ith a Mazda factory replacement engine with less than 9K miles on it. The car starts and it sounded wicked! Collision was confined to front right fender/suspension/passenger door area. The following parts are undamaged and have less than 3K miles on them: AEM CAI / CF hood and HKS Legamax catback exhaust.
Now here is the million dollar question - can someone direct me to a competent person to do the swap into my 75 RX3? I was considering a distributor ignition and carb swap but would be nice to keep the EFI
Worst case scenario would be to sell or barter the Renesis motor/tranny and look towards a more easier swap option.
Any thoughts? Suggestions? Offers?
I'd be happy with a streetported 13B if I were to part with the Renesis.

the MSP swap is a bit rare in any chassis. Only a few have done it in the world so far that i've seen.
Anything is possible with time and money to spare, and someone who knows these new CAN-BUS systems. The MSP ECU virtually controls everything about the SE3P chassis

I used to know this rotary shade tree guru in Bellevue, Nebraska named Dale Jensen - he was a Mazda mechanic who was the go to man for rotaries in the midwest....he could stuff a rotary into anything and loved doing it. Never charged an arm and a leg to do it as long as you brought beer and gave him a helping hand. It was amazing to watch him stare into space and whip out a fabricated piece in a matter of no time. He was a super nice and simple guy who enjoyed the company of rotorheads. Not too many guys like Dale around anymore ...and if there are they are definitely not on any forums and probably don't have internet
Thanks for the contact info!
