Hi!
Can you give us a little bit of specs on your RX4,engine,porting,carb or injection etc.

Have you checked your fuel filter?Has it recently been replaced,if not,you should do it.
Have you checked the flow rate of your fuel pump?Is it up to factory specs?

if it's carbed, i'd say check float level.

it is stock stock stock stock. and I amtrying very hard to keep it that way. I suspect the carb as well. however since i am trying so hard to keep this car stock and since it has this carb because the old one was deformed and would not seal up when i tried to rebuild it I really dont want to take it apart. working examples of these carbs are few and far between. Hopefully the emulsion tubes are gunked up and it will clear up when i stat driving it more. like when its not 105 degrees out every day. what do you think about the timing being too far retarded? I know when i am trying to gt full throttle out of it i can usually romp on the gas a couple more times to richen it up with the accelerator pump which points to the carb again but perhaps the rich fuel mixture is just easier for a maladjusted didstributor to ignite. I really dont wanna open THIS carb up.

I've got an RX-4 manifold and carb, if you wanna play with it. It's the original Hitachi but the manifold as the ACV blocked off.

how much do you want for it crit? cause this one came from a junk yard and i had to push a little hard on the throttle shaft to get it to turn when i was firts checking it out but it was the only one they had. Really I just need the carb but if you want to include the manicold too thats cool. what ever is best for you. these parts are so hard to get that im pretty negotiable.
