So, I picked up a 70's Mazda steering wheel recently and have found info to be scarce and values are .....unreal, to say the least.

The one I have is plastic woodgrain, almost a bronze color, three solid aluminum spokes and a rubber/vinyl horn button with a rotor shaped recess having the old Mazda logo on a blue background. Condition is probably an 8 out of 10.

From what I have been able to determine this is for a 73 RX3 Super Deluxe (I think). Apparently very highly prized in Aus/NZ, but not so much here.

What are reasonable values? I see unsold wheels with logo backgrounds of a different color with astronomical asking prices...$1200AU and up. Even one for over $2300AU (about $1900 US). US prices seem to be much lower.

Is there a logic to the color of the backgrounds, different models? Is there any way to judge real values without asking crazy money and lowering until it sells?
