Difference in SR solid motor and trans mounts

Anyone know the difference between these mounts? Same company just different colors, same descriptions, and price is almost the same.

mounts

One has delrin motor mounts and the other has aluminum. My guess would be the delrin mounts are a tiny bit more forgiving.

So you think the Derlin mounts would be a better option to go with?

I have no idea what your goals are. I'm a street driver so i'm in love with the stock rubber mounts. Personally i've heard nothing but bad reviews from buddies who have solid mounted their engines in the past for street applications. You feel every little vibration.

Get some hockey pucks brotha . My boy just got a vert with these mounts and they ride like dog **** . I'm
In Austin where this company is and not trying to bad mouth . Just for dd stuff it not worth it . So looking for a cheap and quick fix I told him the old hockey puck trick . Well he got some yesterday and drilled the holes . Night and day difference in ride quality but stiffer then the stock mounts I have . Think he paid like 5 bucks for 4 pucks .

Edit : realized you said track car , sorry .

I seem to recall a thread I saw recently on a debate over engine mounts where somebody posted pictures of a cracked center iron caused by using solid mounts. I recommend the mazda racing mounts.

Edit:

Found it.

I fond that trans mounts where the mounts that really ruin the ride.

I was on hockey pucks and stock trans mounts, decided to get stiffer trans mounts and the vibration increased alot. at least on my vehicle the trans spinning is really harsh.

If i clutch in/clutch out at any engine rpm there is a big difference.

Maybe my gears arent balanced lol. IDK but the engine is smooth.

Can confirm trans mounts make more noise. I made hockey puck style engine and trans mounts for mine out of some 90d urethane, had to put shock absorber (urethane) rubbers on the ends of the through bolts on the trans to shut it up.
Would have been good for a race car though - could hear every bit of gear and bearing noise through the floor of the car - would give you a good idea of how your trans is going.
