well as you all know i got my sedan a couple months ago with a blown motor and the car was auto.since then i put in a stock 84 fb rx7 motor and 5 spd trans in the car,but after driving it for a couple months i came to realize that i need more power than a little 12a,so its time for the 13b tII engine install.i recently picked up a 88 rx7 TII engine for $300 in good running condition,came with all the hardware,intakes stock turbo injectors,etc.stripped the engine down to the bare shortblock for cleaning and to install the gsl-se front cover and oil pan.but just realized that the stock turbo manifold is not going to fit,it doesnt clear the strut tower.so i had to get some custom s4 turbo flanges done up so i can have someone fabricate me a custom turbo manifold.i will be wiring the car up to all stock 88 rx7 TII computer.done this plenty of times on other cars,would do a microtech,but im on a budget for this car since i have my rx2 coupe getting all the good stuff at a shop now.here are some random pictures of the car from when i first got it to how it looks now.

i will be taking some pictures of the engine before and after i clean it up a bit,also some pic's of the custom flanges that were made for the stock s4 turbo.im also dropping one of those flanges at RMS,so he can make me a turbo manifold.

 

now that i look at the engine bay pic's,i realized that i might have to either paint it black or have someone color match the exterior paint and paint it orange.hopefully i get this all done before sevenstock,i really want to take the car this year.
