Dave very nice work mate. How cost effective is this set up vs 13t jap motor transplant? How much boost is going through that 12A? Keep us posted mate, this is very very very interesting.

So far in expenses
60mm Wastegate-$130
Intake adapter plate-$135
2 magnaflow mufflers and 3" piping-$300
Modifying LIM for primary injectors-$80
Exhaust manifold flanges-$100
EBay BOV-$50
Stock clutch for now-$100

Everything else I had in my garage from sensors, ecu, intake manifold, stock turbo, coils, car already had a 12a motor unknown year but runs, and seems to have a oldschool cosmo 5spd transmission.car also came with a sidedraft intake with mini 44 carb that I sold for $350 so that also helped fund the project.

I don't pay the full retail,a good friend of mine hooked me up with one of the main guys at form function and ever since then he has been giving me good pricing on the set of coilovers for the rx2.they are a nice set of coilovers even at the full retail price and no one else makes any for these cars.

We've got the same stuff going on under our hoods just about.. Are you using stock TII injectors?

Maybe you could help me out some when I'm ready to fire up.

Fantastic idea. I friend in the UK has done exactly the same thing on his 4 door rx2. But you guys are so lucky being LH drive as you have so much room for exhausts/turbo etc. His one in the UK is very tight fitting indeed!

I like the look of the Rx2- function before form!!! cool.

You will basically need all the fuel injecting set up from a turbo II rx7
Turbo lim
Turbo uim with tb
Turbo injectors-4
Turbo ecu,pressure sensor,airflow meter,etc.
Custom exhaust manifold
Custom intake adapter plate
A lot of man hours lol
Actually thanks for bringing the thread back as I am installing coil overs and a new set of wheels on the car and was gonna post pictures later on today when I'm done.
