RX2 blow through setup Q's

Ok, so basically I could post this to the 1st gen section, and probably search all day for a lot of these answers, but why let them have all the fun?! I have a general understanding of how I am planning on setting up a blow through on my 2, but I have several questions. First though, my engine setup:
13b 4 port
holley 600 carb and manifold
holley red fuel pump

soooo
1. What would be everyones ideal turbo? Could I use a turbo and manifold off a 86-90 turbo2?

2. Is there any fitment issues with the rx-2? By the looks of it, I am a bit worried about the strut tower, although I know I would have to relocate the battery.

3. I think I would go ahead and use the holley carb and get a K&N bonnet for it. How about fuel pump? I think I would need a new one with of the rising regulator type, yes?

4. Perhaps a volvo intercooler. I am very unsure about placement though... there is very little roon unless I go mad max style and put it on the bottom of the oiler cooler. Where else is a good spot you think?

5. Finally, what do people use for piping for the intercooler and to the turbo hat? I havent heard people talk much about what they use in a custom setup.

Thanks for the help!

you can get the holley to work with it. setting up the carb is not bad (from what i have heard from a friend who has done it) from what i remeber he just had to replace the floats and do some other minor adjustments to the carb. i believe it is explained in corky bell's book maximum boost. the turbo will need a new mainifold to clear, you will need to bring it to the front of the car. cutting the strut tower and reinforcing it another way is another option...

I am useing a t2 set up, what i did was shim the eng. enough for the turbo to clear the frame some. Many use the marine carb for the blow set up.

the hollry works fine on turbo set up all u need is the plastic floats as the metal ones tend to be crushed on boost, the hole where the rod comes thru for the choke has to be plugged ,i use cold steel putty and works fine
jet the **** out of them give me call i can giveu some numbers to use, amd if u want a pic of my old set up wich was on a rx2 included a 3rd gen motor, custom turbo manifold on a t70 , i have other pics on a holley set up wich is what i run i got sick of the haltech deal ii can tune the holley way easier , if u have any questions call me at (702)431 1502 julio

Hello,

I am in the middle of a similar conversion. However, after much thought on the subject I decided to go fuel injection with a microtech unit. You can find a custom manifold for your setup. A-Spec tuning made me one.
