RX-8 Tranny question...

RX-8 Tranny question...
Is the rx-8 gonna have a totally automatic trannsmission or f1 style? i saw what seems to be paddles for shifting but i don't know if that's exactly what they are. i am really getting stoked about the rx-8 and am really considering buying one when they come out. thanks

. I don't want an Automatic. They are going for the whole Tiptronic type thing. I have owned an A4 with Tiptronic, and it sucks! Drains tons of HP, and the damn thing still kicksdown when you floor it. I tried to Autocross my A4 and it sucked, it was always downshifting to redline instead of just going. I bought the auto because my wife wanted me too, NEVER AGAIN! I have my name down for an RX-8 but won't buy it if its Automatic only or an Auto/Manual (tiptronic).
