It looks like when they switched to side exhaust ports, it took some of the stress off the apex seals.
There is no exhaust flow across the seal to sluff the oil film.
I just hope they don't start getting side seal problems..

Opinions are like........
Why doesn't it work well?
Side by side injectors for total housing width lubrication, cooler apex seals because no peripheral exhaust, less wear, better oil distribution.......
I wish that I could use the '8s OMP with the 7s flow rate since I don't care for the improved emissions from lower oil consumption.

It goes up to ~1 Qt/1000 miles with spirited driving.

they also simplified how the mop works, electrically
