I personally liked them and cosmos plenty though and owned 2 rx4's and a couple of cosmos back when they were less than 10 yrs old and in great condition except for your standard "blown" engine of course...which we would promptly fix with a nice used jspec 13b cosmo na motor("76-"78) from Kwatanabe($350). Hope you put your rx4 on the road for some fun. Tom G
Hello Tom,

Thanks for the thumbs up. I too think the RX4 are one of the nicest old skool rotary's. Especially the 1974 pointed nose version. Only year for the 13B with that nose for America.
And, yes she see's the road but only on dry sunny days and even at that note too often. Mostly a nice day cruiser or the rare car show that I may find time to attend. I never enter into the competitions though.

Regards

Max

Both have been sold to PERTANO. They will have a happy life there. I cannot afford this many projects right now, and I will be moving in July. Including these, I have 6 cars, only 2 of which are drivable, so, I had to let them go.

Yeah but I still got further with that car in a few months then most people get in a few years.

Either way these cars will stay off this forum. That's for sure. They'll pop up again sometime later. But I've met all the people I need to know to get these cars done right this time. And R&R Rotary will not be anywhere in that mix.

Thanks Bro. I'm excited about the cars. I've already got a stand alone setup for the car and will be dropping in a turbo II motor. No more brideport N/A setups for me. Just going to keep it simple and reliable. I've talked to a few people and I should be able to get 250 out of a fresh turbo II so that will be all I'm going after for now. Maybe the 2nd car will get a little more power later. ????

I don't plan on parting anything out. But when I get up there to pick the cars up I'm going to try and get some parts off another on that that is up there. But this all wont' happen for a few months anyway.

You can use the RX-3's koni front cartridge on a RX-4 strut tube. Koni will last longer than a KYB and will give it a stiffer ride.

For any of you that are interested. These cars a both listed on ebay right now. Austin and I agreed to a deal on them, but I could never get the time to drive up there to pick them up. Sorry Austin......

Anyway these are some great cars to restore. Dont miss out on a killer deal here. I wish I had the time to drive up to the damn peak of Montana to get them.
