I'd love to see the RX-2 parts manual recorded for all posterity as a PDF. Magnus, I'll gladly scan and return it if you want to mail your manuals my way.

Magnus,

Is your Rx-5 manual in a binder or is in book format ?
My Rx-5 manual is in book format so it would be a pain to scan.
I must have an Rx-2 manual in a binder somewhere too...

Any chance someone here has an RX-3 FSM? I've looked all over and can't find one.

Allcon,

Magnus, Multi the Rx5 manual you are talking about is it the copywrite 1975 version in the binder if so it is wrong many of the part numbers are wrong they were changed for the final production version.

I have nearly a full set of the parts manuals for all the years in binders with duplicates of some and RHD complete versions of R100, Rx2 (RHD only versions of Rx3 and Rx4) i also have the extremely rare sports kit version manuals, those that i don't have in binder form i have in microfiches and some i have made copies of the microfiches but they won't scan that well. I would consider letting these be used for scanning purposes but we'll have to talk directly on that i have already lost 3 of my original ones to someone with the same plan. However Multi,Magnus i know that you are much more trustworth

When I had my rx-3Sp I went to mazda to try and find parts and ..well, I kinda walked out with the transparets of the car for both years . You need a projector to see them but they are all there. I just remembered after seeing this post. If anyone might be interested in them? they are blk and the orange of the Sp moddels and I have like 5 pages of them.

I figured that the parts manuals wouldn't do much good anymore since the parts aren't dealer-available anyway. I created the RX-2 FSM PDF and will happily do an RX3 or 5 if someone will put me in touch with the paper.

RX-4 manual is available at http://www.rotary.rxmazda.co.nz/circ...e_chapters.pdf

I'll do it! I can PM you my address. I've managed to compile nearly everything in PDF and am trying to find a home that will host it. The hardcopies are nearly impossible to find, and I bought a repro RX-2 manual (RHD and all) from Australia a while back, but even that's a crapshoot. I'm not looking to keep every year of every model, as that would just destroy server space. Besides that, my RX-2 FSM isn't model-year-specific and I'm not sure it would do much good. I currently lack:

R100 FSM
RX-2 Parts
RX-4 FSM (have the aussie in a weird binder)
RX-4 Parts
Everything RX-5
Everything REPU (though multirotor has volunteered to help on this one).

I've also got every RX-7 parts manual and every FSM from 85 up and the 80. RX-7 FSMs are pretty beefy though, so I'm only looking to add the 82 or 83, maybe.

If y'all have these hardcopies and are willing to share, please let me know.

Let me also add that if you have dealer brochures from different years, I'll be happy to compile those as well. I know that we treat these like gold, and promise to treat them with care.

Even if many parts are no longer available, I find the parts catalogs of very much value in taking apart and re-assembling cars.
You exactly know how many screws there should be...

I am willing to scan/put online/send back whatever is sent to me.
It will take some time, though...
If it is already on separate pages (in a binder) you might as well send me copies to scan so you don't loose the originals.

I also have sports kit parts catalog for the Rx-7 and for the Rx-3.
The Rx-5 book I have is a late model book that includes the piston version (121 Coupé) we got here.

That is exactly it, there used to be more but I "lent" some to someone else trying to do the same thing and now I am missing some.

By the way, there is a running index of all the manuals we've compiled. It's available at VR.
