RX-2 Speedo Cable

Will a speedometer cable from a 71-78 808 (piston RX-3, for the uninitiated) fit a 74 RX-2? I'm inclined to say it would, but am curious if someone here would know for sure.

It works, the speedo just wobbles. I need an unkinked cable, that's all.
