Does the 86 B2000 run? I know it says it's ready for a swap, but does it run as it is?

The block has a hole in the side of it where it a rod came through. It did try to run on 3 cyl one time when i was using the starter to move it. The engine is still in it with a 5 speed tranny, pwr steering, AC, AM-FM-cassette, cruise control. Its an LX model that is the top of the line for 86. It just needs lots of TLC. It would make someone a great work truck. $200 and its yours, and for another $250 I'll sell you the spare block, crank, pistons, rods, oil pan, new gaskets, new rings, and new timing belt. I have all the stuff to fix it just don't have the time or the want to.

 

Check, it would be a great truck to toss in a 13b motor and use it as a daily driver.

Someone buy this, we need it gone (Spring Cleaning).

 

Come on, someone has a 13b laying around that they could use to make this a good daily driver.

Anyone, I need this truck gone. Its too good to send to the crusher. I've got too many projects and this one is not on the list. I'll entertain trades of core 13b, or 12a, or tranny's.
