Rotor in a Four Winns Jet Boat?

i've got a 14'6" fiberglass jet boat with a OMC V4 115 hp block turning an impeller jet drive

think a rotary could go in and work better ?

Thumbs up

That Sounds Like A Great Project. You Can Easly Get Over 300hp With A Turbocharged 13b. I Have A Jet Ski And When The Engine Blows Up I,m Will Stick A 13b In It. Atkins Marine Has Parts That Can Be Used For Your Conversion. Hopefully You Won't Get Bashed By The Boat Guys Like I Got From The V8 Guys For The Mustang. I Like All Types Of Conversions As Long As It Has A Rotary. I Say Go For It . Good Luck.

thanks for the link .... i sent them an email . A twin rotor marine is about 160 HP which is about what I was hoping for over the existing 115 HP OMC V4 in it . Just a little more top end and little more punch for pulling my fat *** outta the water on a slalom ski

not sure how much speed the hull is designed for so too much HP might not be right for the boat.

there are things that are adequate and there are things that are wretched excess. kinda goes along the philosophy of if enough is just fine then why not go way overkill.
