Rotary Spitfire (Abomination) video
Here's a video of my Grassroots Motorsports $2006 Challenge RoSpit, also known as the Abomination.
The driver is a local hotshoe, he's done the One Lap of America a few times and has lots of open wheel experience. The passenger is a girl who runs a Nissan Spec V in G Stock and beat her husband's time at the last AX, so she's not without experience. That makes the squeals all the funnier!

Here's anothe video from the June 9 AX. The passenger is my brother, who's never done an AX before and I think he's hooked.

Rotary spitfire? I had heard of this fabled beast. After I finish my turbo swap into my 88 vert, I am going to drop the n/a from it into my friends 65 spitfire.
Any tips, suggestions, warnings etc?

The hard part is building a rear axle that will live. A stock Spit diff is good to maybe 100 HP on a good day. I went through a lot; I used Miata rear knuckles, custom made control arms and a cut down GXL diff. The good thing is I can wind it up and dump the clutch and it moves instead of breaking something.
