True, but there is a BUT, and a big one:

400hp is NOT atainable ona stock BP engine, I belive the record was 330-340, and that was pushing it. The other two issues are transimision, and rear end, both of them will not handle the abuse.

Take for example a 1.6BP with the greddy kit, it makes about the same power as this 13B 6 port:

If the goal on a Miata is +400HP, a T2 tranny & rear end swap is needed, thats 3/4 of the battle.
