A local buddy on here (Dave / BigIslandsSeven) is painting it in a booth (no garage job for this one) in Denver NC. The color is the same Atomic Orange that GM puts on new Corvettes and full-size trucks. He painted the valence a while back as a test, and it was just gorgeous. I can't wait to see the truck finished.

Carb. My ideal engine choice has to be shelved for the time being, as I had to burn some of the truck budget while the wife looked for a job. The truck will get the old GSL-SE 4-port engine that was in it, with a Weber 51 IDA. I just pulled an old-school engine block, and if the housings look good I'll restack the engine with the italicized housings.
