Well guys, i picked up a 1973 Ford Courier this week. I drove her home and after further inspection, the motor is not worth rebuilding.
So i decided that i was going to pull the motor out and put in something just so i can use it as a daily driver. I have a spare 12a thats been pulled apart, but i figure its going to be easier and more cost effective to swap the 12a in than to do a full rebuild of the stock 1.8.
Tonight i pulled out the engine and trans, and lucky me, the stock driveshaft will work with an rx7 5spd.
On another note, this truck is lighter than a stock 1st gen rx7, and has factory 4.10 gears so sadly i think it will be faster than my rx.
