Have a look at http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/main.htm then under the 'Events Attended', and Brooklands 2003. There is an R110 Cosmo.

Anyone have a nice cond. front bumper, rear plate light cover, drivers side window reg. or a gas door keylock for a 1200? Still trying to located those items.

Genuine R100s are so scarce these days it's a joke, and people that own them usually want a fortune for them.
This is one of my favourites, he lives local and it's a genuine 10 second street registered car...

Okay, the back end does bear some resemblance to the RX2, what with the little round taillights and sloping B-pillars. I still think it looks more like an old Toyota Corona Mk5, though.
BTW, I know of an R-100 in a barn around here with a spare 10A motor, if I could only remember exactly how to get back out there...

Here is a photo of an original 10A engine in my '71 R100. The engine was rebuilt in 1984 after a long search and wait for parts. I was able to get new side housings and 1 new rotor from Mazda. Was on back order for more than six months and that was nearly 20 years ago! Original parts for these cars have always been a tough find. Only about 5200 R100 coupes were imported which makes them pretty rare. An R100 sedan was made from 1969 to 1973 also but was never imported to the states. Total production out of the Hiroshima plant of the R100 was 95,706 of which 70,624 were coupes and 25,082 were sedans. These totals reflect rotary powered cars only. The piston version totals were probably much higher as these were made up to 1976. The rotary version production of the R100 ended in 1973.

Ha Ha, I knew I'd get a rise outta that!
Yeah, my friend and I went out to this guy's property a couple of years ago and checked it out, but I'll be damned if I can remember exactly how to get back out to the guy's place. To be honest, I'm not all that interested in an R-100 while I have this beautiful rust-free '72 RX3 sitting in my garage awaiting final assembly.

That 10A motor was shoved in an Arctic Cat Panther back in the early 70s (I want to say 71-72).
Of course all the part numbers are non-existant. Arctic Cat doesn't even list them as accurate part numbers anymore!
I used to work at a shop and was bored one day, so I was looking up some parts for an old snowmobile I used to own when I found rotary parts on the microfiche. Imagine my surprise!
