Dude,

those things are pretty hard to find. Keep looking. It took me 6 months to find a RX 2. (they are highly desirable in So. Cali.)

there was one in ohio and I was talking to the guy about buying it through e-mail and after a couple of pics and a few replys he cut me off never heard from him again. It was $900 and in fair condition blue with all the rotary powered sticker crap all over it with considerable rust but I want an Rx-3 real bad!

Well, I've got a 78 sp and so does my buddy Rotortuner. I'd been looking for an old rotary for about a year and finally found one in some guy's barn. It's rusty. Real rusty. I'm pretty sure it's pic is down in my sig. Most of the sp's you'll find will be on the west coast and you'll be pretty lucky to find one that's not corroded all to ****. They're fun cars and usually cost too much (I know mine did). If you want any other answers, just ask .

it was a local guy from south jersey. i actualy knew him. both went for about 5K. beautiful cars. they were in the philadelphia auto trader believe it or not. i sold my rx2 recently to a guy on long island. i used the tradin' times to sell it. sold in about a week. i *may* be selling 2 R100's together (one all original down to the 10a motor and one old shell from a former full tube chasis car for body parts needed for restoration)
if you are interested email me at rxrotary2_7@yahoo.com
i have my eyes on something else right now.
