It's an RX8, not an RX-8.

My guess is its a typo from the advertising agency.

Its obviously from around 80-85 & the ill-fated Eunos Cosmo/RX-8 for 1990 wasn't even on the drawing boards yet.

The only other reference to an RX-8 from that era was the LA43S Luce/RX-8 from 78-81.

The export was to be an RX-8 but only the piston powered 929 version made it out of Japan thus the RX-8 signia was dropped. Came close though.
