I am suprised the hoda transmission can handle the torque! Haha, not saying the rotary is torquey, but compared to the 1.6 or whatever came in that Civic it is a beast!

not to say anything bad about a 20B (I wish I had one ) but it'll need some work to outperform the originals there. A 26B TT would be a good thing, but I'm not gonna buy the Ferrari to put it in

Read his question/answers. It's a Toyota Corona gearbox. I believe the Corona here was RWD though and discontinued in the early 80's.

A+ for originality.... this car is the cause of some heated debate in nz at the moment!!

having seen it in person its acutally a really well done conversion not something i however would be keen to replicate or buy but this guy is the 2nd owner (after engine swap) and i know of at least one guy whos seriously keen to buy it

Do you still have that vid or know where to get it. I saw it once and told a few friends but never have found it again.

i don't care how much flack he got for that. he should be worshipped for finally making a FAST Civic, no? but seriously though, i thought it was very cool. i can't say anything nice about the color, so i'll refrain from saying anything ... else.
