I just picked up my 75 lawn green repu that came from cali. It was a blast to drive home. I'm already thinking of what to do on truck first. Rotary's are to much fun!

I plan on having it on the road in the spring time. I'd like to get my hands on a turboII motor to drop in to make it really scream. But for now the factory motor will do.

Thanks for the response. I cant stop looking out my window at it. My wife thinks its the ugliest truck she has ever seen. I think I am going to have her eyes checked out. The truck cost me $2,500 and it is worth every penny. It is solid top to bottom and is all original. The motor was rebuilt recently and it sounds fine. I have a 13B out of a GSL-SE rx7 with only 40K original miles on it. I was thinking about building this motor up and leaving the original motor alone. But that is still up in the air. I just want to give it a quick tune up and fix the left front brakes which seem to be sticking. Eitherway I finally got my repu and cant be any happier. I'll update my progress along with pics within the next couple of days.

Congrats on the new ride.I can't imagine there are many of these truck left in New England. When I got mine years ago(also lawn green 74) I went to the RMV,and they had no idea what it was.I had to have a local police officer inspect it to verify it was a real vehicle so I could title it,and get it on the road.Good luck on the work you plan, and get that wife in check the RE/PU is one of the coolest looking trucks ever.

Definitely need some pictures. I need to get some digital pics myself. I have a yellow 75 with a 20R Toyota motor and tranny in it. I got it for $1000. Even with the 20R in it it's still a fun truck. Hey Mazdaorbust, I'll buy that 4 Port 13B off of you if you are interested in selling it. I will be moving back to Maryland in June. We could do a meet halfway sort of thing.

Hey Brad,
One thing that I have to fix on my truck is the front brakes. The truck was parked for a while and the calipers are stuck closed. I did find a place that has new ones in stock which I'm going to order a set tomorow. I was shocked when the guy told me that there were several sets in stock. I should get them in a few days. Once I install them I'll let you know how well they work.

I had one of my front calipers sticking when I got my truck as well.I was also surprised to find out I could get a set of new calipers in about a day,or so.They were cheap as well.Good luck with the truck, and check out "my car" in my sig to see some lame pics of my lawn green RE/PU.

new calipers are $30 with $1 core at Kragen.
So far I've replaced front calipers, rotors, bearings, wheel studs and all the front brake hardware. Only thing original front brake related is the hub and caliper bracket.
Still pulls to left under braking. Needs the toe checked though. rear brakes are also all new and i checked the rear brakes, each rear hub moves with 9 lbs of pressure on the wheel stud per my little digital fish scale fronts 5-6lbs.

Thank alot for helping me post the pictures. The stripe on the side is original. It even has original trim pieces that are below the stripes. The interior is in excellent shape except for the carpet and a few rubber pieces that have to be replaced. The odometer on the truck says 60K. Being 31 years old I couldn't tell you how mant actual miles are on the truck. All I know is that I LOVE THE TRUCK!
Once again I say thank you to everyone for your support and help.
