i just recieved my new/used starter from ebay but it is not the one stated in the picture

all bolts line up but i am unable to test in car cuz the resto has begun!

anyone know if there is a difference other than the gear housing????

 

I have 12a starters with 8, 9 and 11 teeth if I remember right. All came out of various 1st gen Rx7’s. I have never figured out why. I like the 11 tooth because they seem to spin the motor a little faster.
