need launching help

Let me translate for the Wack....est. max power, trans, d-shaft, wheel size in the rear...with or without slicks?
They are pretty sturdy, but not unbreakable. Several 7000+rpm launches with a strong clutch and slicks will snap that baby in a run or two....at least twist the **** out of your axles. I'd say they will hold 180hp with 5000rpm launches....how long, who knows....another thing to consider is the age and condition of the rear. Is the oil good? No play? etc.....

You must have been real lucky or the later rx3 axles are stronger than the rx2 axles. I broke 2 stock axles in my rx2 using street slicks at 16psi and launching at 6000rpm. The only thing I can recommend is using a higher tire pressure to let the tires spin a little and you can slip the clutch too. This is the reason I am putting a ford 9" in my rx2 as we speak.

key component is the high RPM launches,it allows a little bit of tire spin,it shocks the tires just enough to not break axles,i learned by listening to Rob at Pineapple Racing.
