I don't recall where the car was located but I do recall it having been originally from Alaska. The bumpers were the only thing missing and it used to be an automatic converted to manual. Does that help. It was a perfect car.
Thanks for the 10 vote.

Max, I saw this car in autotrader this past summer I think, you bought it from an old lady in southern Ontario right? I was going to go look at the car, but the guy told me it sold just the day before!!! I'd love to see it in person sometime!

The little bird was partially correct. All my cars would have been for sale if I were able to hook up with the guy for the 69 Cosmo but unfortunaltly that did not happen-as of yet. He posted one for sale in Brazil and either some one got to it before me or he jsold it locally. Either way a reply would have been nice, or a new post stating the car is no longer available. I have aquired another since, all original almost as good as my RX4 in condition, a 1972 Triumph STAG.
Should I come accross a 67-69 Cosmo 110, depending on its cost to me I will have to sell off my collection. The RX4 would obviously be the last to go as I would try to avoid selling her.
Hope all is well with you,
Regards

Yes I believe it was. Funny story. Auto Trader had taken a poor picture of the car for her, I couldn't tell what it was off the web page picture and if I recall the add did not state much info. They were suppose to place it in the hard copy mag. Classic Auto Trader but instead made an error and only plcaed the ad on the net. This upset her and she requested the net ad be removed after compaining to Auto Trader who offered her a free ad on the next print cycle of the mag. a month later. This helped me get the car as I was not ready to buy it at that point. I some how saw the net ad and wrote the number down. The asking price was $20 000.00 CAD. A few days later the net ad was gone. Out of curiosity I searched for the number I wrote down and called. After speaking with a very nice older man who did not know much about the car, what model it was, or what a rotary is I got more curious. I asked for info via email but they did not have that, via fax but they did not have that, finally, via regular mail so they sent me some pictures taken off of an instant camera and went to a copy center to make copies of a couple of pictures she had taken the year before. I sent a deposite, and later on flew down to Windsor, rented a car and drove up to her town (no airport where she lived). When I saw it I bought it. It was taking so long for me to find the time to get down there that they offered me back my deposit informing me that they by this point had a few local people interested in it. Yes I did get the price down by sending them the few copies of ads of other RX's I had found for sale to show that her price was too high.

I found the original picture used for the ad. I don't recall the ad's wording but it certainly did not do this car any justice. Sorry, but glad I got to it first.

Wow, that is a GORGEOUS car! And it's oh so clean! I love the color combo... the white interior makes is straight up CLASS.
If you do decide to sell it, please don't sell it to just anyone! Make sure it finds a good home!

Hello,
Thanks for the comments. I love the color combo as well. These pictures are before I had a chance to clean her up and they are still clean. They were taken when I first went to see her and bought her-no waxing yet. I will post some updated pictures this spring after she comes out to play. Your site has a very nice RX4 as well. I wish mine was a manual and had the factory mags but I will be keeping her original. As well I love those Japanese mirrors.
As for selling, originally only if I had found the perfect 69 110B Cosmo i would have, but now, I think I will stick with my RX4. The more I look at her in my garage the more in love I fall and the more I am learninghow few of these are left in this condition. If ever, she would have to go to a good home to someone who would never modify such a original item. I would problably have to take applications and screen buyers. Hopefully life and financial times will never force me to do so. She is my second baby next to my beautiful 10 month old daughter. Maybe when she is old enough to drive it will be hers.
regards
Max
