ok heres the story behind this car. it pretty much scared the **** out of everybody in this general area. no one would race it. it ran 9.7 @ 123 last year in sac coasting the last 100 ft cause it ran out of gear. since then it has slightly taller gears and the rear suspension has been completely reworked. honestly man the car scares the **** out of me when i drive it. and thats only on the motor. its jetted for a 350 shot right now. i cant imagine what that feels like the guy that built it is a buddy of me and docs. he worked at summit for a few years so he got all parts for cost. then he moved on to become a master tech at the local cady dealership. i bought this whole car for less than it would cost to build the motor. let alone the trans, rear setup, fuel system, cage etc. i lucked out man, big time. im not letting doc within 50 ft. of this monster

i know hes motivated to build it cause his bike cant be fixed. its just a matter of timing to get it back into the shop for finishing touches on the chassis and tin work. i think he has a game plan for the motor too. i could see this thing running next summer if we all pitch in and do whatever it takes to get it going. i for one really want to see this ****** thing make a pass. lat time it did it was spitting out the exhaust and laying over in third. turns out there was a birds nest in the fuel filter (you saw it) so now this car will have like 14 fuel filters

My car is doing good, i popped the motor last time out due to a tuning error (100% my fault) but the couple passes i made were unbelievable. When it finally cleared out and got up on boost !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! holy ****!!!!!!!!!! It pulls much harder than it did on the old motor and i am running less boost than i was when i ran the 9.58. It doesn't even feel like the same car! I wish i could take doc for a ride, i bet he would go straight home and finish his car! If everything goes right i should have it back out and on the track by the beginning of next month.

BTW- that is a nice Chevelle. I love american muscle too. But this isn't a website for american muscle cars etc. It's for RX's and mainly Rotaries, with the exception of the few dumbasses the have to ruin the RX's by putting in v8's etc.
