bought me a 72 rx2. the car has re badging on it and i was wondering why it has this .it has a re badge on the grill and next to the mazda emblem on the trunk. the car is blue with white stripes down the side. it is all original double distributor. it has 29000 miles on it. if anyone can give me info bout this car let me know. also the same guy has more rx2 rx3 rx4 cars and parts he is in virginia so if anyone wants the info for him ill let yall know thanx

Well, I think they all have the "RE" (rotary engine) badge...

I dont think they came stock with an RE on the back next to the mazda emblem on the truck.
My Rx2 only has Mazda on the truck..

on the grill where it usually says rotary enigine it has a fancy re badge?. ill post pics in a few days i paid 200 bucks it has a bad mtotr of course but is complete and clean

 

and the guy has other complete cars for sale maybe parts only though if interested i can find out

I would try to have the guy sale the car as a whole.
Why wast a pretty good Rx2. I say try to keep them alive, then gut them..
