Mazda 767B Leman at our local shop!

We are doing a special Mazda event. Our Mazda headquater has invited 767B to the event. This also include 1967 Cosmo Sport and the 1000,000 edition production Japan FC3S convertible. Both FC and Cosmo are brand new. I could not belive my eyes when I saw them. They have remove the intake mainfold. Cuz they didn;t want us to start up the car. I wish I could heard how it sound in front of me. Cosmo was a classic. Did you know that it uses clarion radio same like our FD. Here are some pics.

787b is the LeMans winning 4-rotor. The 767 looks about the same but I believe was a 3 rotor. Look on the tip of its nose, you can make out "MAZDA 767B"

Does anyone know for sure how the 787 and 767 varied? From what I recall from a book, the induction was the only difference (787 had the telescoping runners). Anyone know for sure? Also, wasn't the 767 white with purple or blue accents?

Okay, I just happened to have answered my own question, and want to fill everyone in. The 757-767-787 cars ran LeMans from the mid-80s through 91. The 88 767s had the 13J, the first 4-rotor, and got beat by the older 757 which was running a 3-rotor (DOH!). It was followed by the 13G (still a 4-rotor) and later the R26B-powered 787B in 1990

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_Wankel_engine#13J

Everyone should spend an hour digesting that page and everything it links to.... tons of info.
