Great find....lookin nice. Wonder why the tail lights had been changed to the earlier '72-'75 style. Maybe thats a good thing , if you could get it registered as a 75 before you change 'em out. Hope to see it in person someday here in Cali. Good luck with it. Tom G

'99 saturn

The saturn is a four door and I allways hit the corner top at the post, make sure you change the coolent reg. I just had the head gasket replaced, it was corroaded by GM's 100,000 mile coolent.
The lights, first they are not in bad shape to start with(thanks Brian)no sun fading or skratches just paint, calicum deposits, and a bunch of thick dust ***** the bottom 1/8th was full. I dissasembeled the lighs entirely being really careful with the gaskets. next soaked the parts in warm soap and water and scrubed them with an old tooth brush I was tempted to use my sonic care but didnt. then I used limeaway on the on the calicum deposits used sparingly.on the housing behind the lenses I used a fine grade steelwool and repainted with a silver reflective paint, also replaced the silver tape behind the turn signal with an aluminum plumbers tape. then last I used Eagle one nano-protectant for vinyl & leather to bring back the new look , I dont like armor all its a dash board killer---MadChad.

looks like progress is moving along well. I am having a little sellers remorse, to that i would just say i want first opportunity on a buy back if you ever decide to get rid of it. which my guess is you never will. again looks great keep us up on the new news.

not so much remorse

I think the remorse will fade the closer we get to getting "the race car" going. It's a 1988 bmw e30 m3 that we have mounted a 1996 skyline gtr drive train in. The motor is highly modified and we are in the works of designing the front suspension. It's a little complicated. but my boss built street rods for 15 years and has read every suspension book he could get his hands on so shouldn't be too bad. With 700-750whp you deffinetly want to have good control. I am going to try to post a picture we will see. You should check out the web site some time idahospeed.com there are a couple of cool vids and and picturesm of some of our projects. Gonna go watch a movie now.

Wheels

Hey way cool ride and great craftmanship I like the savanna center console. the rims are 13"x8" havent quite looked into the make or offset . if you do flare the fenders please post the results. I'd like to go with a larger wheel but space is limited---MadChad.

great find chad congrats on the new ride, looks like you have enough room for 9" wheel in the back by the look of that fender flares. I have 8" also on on my car with flares with about 2.5" from the edge on the flares, I may expriment with a 9.5" this weekend and see if its do able....

Very nice, I would love to have an RX3SP. Are you just returning it to stock? Or do you have big plans for it?
