the universal blocks come with u bolts that are to thick in diameter for the stock shackels. You have two options here. Go to a spring shop and have them make you the correct u-bolts for your RX-3 like I did, or just get a file or drill bit and drill out the shackles to the diameter of the u-bolts supplied with the universal kit. The new u-bolts should cost you around 20-25 bucks. I know Chariot spring in Fontana makes them right there while you wait. I like that way because you can put it back to stock very easy if you so choose.

As Pertano said, if they used the u-bolts (3/8 IIRC) that came with the universal blocks, then your installer must have drilled out the plates to make it work. Now, you're saying that the u-bolts are too large??? It appears that that your installer fucked up the holes in the upper and lower plates which caused the rear to go ****-eyed. I think this is whats going-on as your statement above doesnt make sense.

if you want a custom u-bolts, go to atlas springs and they can make it while u wait; approx $25 for 4 pieces of 1/2 u-bolts. their number is 626/333-7373, 127 4th avenue, city of industry ca. be sure to bring one of the original u-bolts so they can copy it. I dont know any places in SFV coz I'm not a valley girl.
