I'm building up my baby bumble bee.....
won't the neighbors be so mad at me....
She's finally back from the body shop. I've gotta make a few decisions for sound deadening in the floor and doors, and I'd like to put a urethane truck bed coating in the trunk. Then the fun stuff happens.
So happy.

Seeing the Rx-2 without the distraction of all the trim really shows how Italian the body shape is. I hadn't really noticed this before, but I guess the Italian influence extended beyond the early Luce and 1500/1800 (which I believe were all done by Bertone.)

Thanks man. It was tough working out a stripe from a 68 Charger/Super Bee, seeing as the car doesn't have enough *** to pull it off. It just stops under the bumper.
In a cruel twist of fate, the Front-left fender and lower valence got crushed good by the trailer on the way home, so I'm looking for replacements.

I know a guy that was saleing a whole front end for a 71 Rx2 about a month ago. I havent seen his add listing in sometime. I could give you the phone number if you would like and u could see if he still has it.
If you are looking at spraying the bedliner in the trunk, you might want to consider the underbody and inner wheel wells too. I've done this with a couple of 7's I've redone and have been pleased with the results. If you want to spend the extra money, I can be bought in colors.
I can hear the engine buzzing already.

Whazuup Crit,
the stripe is right on. It's dave with the 4-door in Atlanta. My 4 door is on ebay right now, but I've been kicking around the idea of keeping it . I do custom paint and body work, and know of some cool products for sound deadening and increased structural rigidity. call me at 404-587-5590. My phone got crushed by a car and all of my phone #s with it. Your car looks great.
