I just picked up a 72 rx2 a week ago, so far so good. I am sure you will hear a lot from me in the future. I will have lots of questions on where to get stuff and what interchanges with what.

I havent had a chance to get any decent ones because of where its parked at. Sorta between the deck, the garage, and an enclosed trailer.
I will get some good ones soon and post them.

I should take new photos with the ugly bumper horn thingies off now and things kind of cleaned up. It looks a lot better than it did in those photos.

Some photos shot after making a 1000+mile trip back from Florida where we picked it up. Amazingly the only problems we had were a slowly leaking front tire and a carb set-up for Miami weather, with choke disconnected. Sorry its a bit dirty:

Man that's awesome, I've always wondered how a dark green would look on an RX-2, and now I really like it. That's also one of the nicest engine bays I've ever seen, just beautiful. Bridged TII motor, man thats my dream engine right there, has your brother finished the car yet? If not, tell him to keep up the good work.
Thanks for the compliment on the wheels, I really like them myself. They're actually the universal lug type from American Racing, so they fit 4x114.3 as well as 4x110. I first found that out when taking off the wheels and seeing the bolt holes were oval shaped, since its only a 4.3mm difference. These are 13x7's with only +3 offset so they have a pretty nice lip:
The tires on them right now are 175/50-13's so they're.... a bit stretched.

Kick-
Yes it's the one that was on eBay awhile ago, the reserve was never met but we emailed the guy afterwards and made a deal.

I'm pretty sure that's what all the 74 taillights look like, it might be a little confusing because I also have the earlier shorter bumpers on the car.

I want to keep my crazy dual distributors and use two 6A boxes and 2 blaster2 coils like that nice '74 blue car has.
The bumpers... stupid '74 USA DOT laws They ruined every single import car with the 5mph mandated bumpers. My '74 3.0CS had those stupid things. I swear I'll never buy anything made after '73 again ever

RX for fun
iTrader: (13)
for dual MSD ignition boxes, the stock tach wire needs to be connected to either of the boxes. thats what i did to the RX-2. I've read some post that direct fire system doesnot work on a bridge port but, as usual, I will be the judge of that. I will try it when I have the time.
Now, for my RX-3, im only using a single MSD-6A but direct fire. The stock tach is connected to stock trailing location while the autometer 10K tach with shift light is connected in the MSD box. The reason behind this is to give me a warning if the trailing igniter becomes bad.
