Gaugeing Intrest on RX-3 Wagon

Hey guys my customer wants to know waht the car could sell for?
Sence this thing has no real value to me exept i think its cool i was woundering what its worth?
It now runs drive's and stop's, list of new below.
- Caps, Rotors,Points, Plugs, Coils.
- Brake calipers and master cylinder rebuilt, clutch master and slave rebuilt.
- New pads and shoe's.

* The car is going through a full restorations in progress and i think the customer is scared of the bill. One owner southern car sat for 15 years till i got a call to have the restoration done.

Are you asking worth as shown in the pics or worth after restoration? This is not clear.

Hello,

Some interior pics would help. I think it also depends on the cars location, east VS west and North VS South......

Whats the interior like. If very clean, complete, and the dash is free of cracks i think it would be worth more than the 2 or 3K mentioned. If that car were up here in Canada and eastern Canada at that it could pull some good coin.

Consider this, the value of vintage Rotary's have been going up in recent years. Just in the past two months there have been articles in Hemmings (current May issue of exotic & classic edition) and Motor Trend or Car and Driver past issue. Its only recently that Mazda has reached it maturity age for collectors to look twice. Now considering how much more rare a rotary is than a piston counter part of the saem vintage year it becomes more rare.

Another note, as per a recent show on "My Classic Car" on the speed channel, it was stated that wagons are starting to be more collectable than ever before. People like them again.....

Regards

Max
