If you use GSL SE front suspensions your rear wheels studs will be different from the front. I used Koni struts with coilovers on 1st gen inserts, my brakes were Volvo 4 piston but the second generation 4 piston calipers are lighter and work as well. I also used polyurethene bushings throughout the front end, but be carefull in the rear as they will cause serious binding problems. I used a dual front sway bar set up, using two stock bars, then four sets of block clamping them together, the outer sets can be slid closer to the center, less bar, or towards the outer extreme, more bar. This set up was wonderful and gave me great turn in. I used crash bolts to obtain camber, running 3.5 degrees with Hoosiers.

I am going to say that strut bars are a gimmick, especially in a car with the struts so close to the firewall. By the time you are getting enough grip and power to make them worth anything you should have a full roll cage doing this duty instead.

Ok well for rear suspension i am building a 4 link back half, the car is going to be mostly drag raced but will be hill climbed and autocrossed also. If i go with the GSL SE front end parts i will most likely re drill the hubs/discs anyways, i am just wondering is the discs are big enough from the gsl se, Will second gen calipers bolt right on or will i need to build adapter plates? Thanks Mike
