I know i am going to catch **** for this but i think the only car that Mazda made that was uglier than the RX-2 is the R100.

I dont know what I am going to do with it. Since its so complete, I thought about fixing the rust, throwing some exhaust on it, cleaning it up, and just driving it. I would want to switch the tailights to the round style, and ditch the bumpers. Its all dependant on how much rust there is.
I may sell the 1200. Im not sure yet. Give me a month to work some other **** out.

You got a pretty rare car there. A Series 2 Rx-2 was about the best running and fastest Rx-2 to be imported. KEEP the square tail lights and the big bumpers and also the square tail pipe! I would try to do a resto on the car and keep everything original including the big port 12A if its still there. You may have the only RX-2 with safety bumper left! ha Check out "Car and Driver" magazine Mat 1974 issue. They thought this car to be the "Small car King" beating everything from Opels to Mustang Mach I to BMW 2002Tii.

 

those tail lights look alot better than the round ones, they look more refined. It is also a very rare model, so you might want to consider not ruining it with ugly round lights and just putting the bumpers in storage or something, cos those are hell ugly. Will look trick with early model bumpers on it

 

No way Jose, I love the RX-2 & RX-100; the ugliest one is the rare RX-5!

I have 3 old school cars now. The Rx2 is a 74.

 

And none of them's in running condition

Intersting Doc;

Over here on the other side of the world.Its called a Capella. Headlight,tailights,bonnet,valance etc differs from the Rx2.

We only had a series 1,and later a series 2 Rx2`s.Then the capella`s took over.
My Capella Rs looked alot like your Rx2.
