coolest car ever

I was reading on some other board about some guy swapping a 5.0l ford v8 into an RX-7. I drive a 5.0 mustang myself, but I don't see the point. I mean, you'd get a much cooler looking car but it sounds like a real PITA, especially if you wanted to keep the fuel injection. I've kinda harbored a similar wet dream, but in reverse. Swap a ROTARY into a FORD. I was thinking along the lines of one of those replica Shelby Colbras they make nowadays. Since it's a bogus replica anyway, why not do something really cool like power it with a nasty 4 or 6 rotor wankel. You know, couple turbos 650+ horses. I think that would really rule. Coolest looking car ever made with the coolest engine ever made. What do you all think?

I know a rotary powered cobra would be cool in the 'hot rotor' comunity.
